David Choi holds a Bachelor of Urban Forestry degree from the University of British Columbia, where he utilized GIS and remotely sensed data to investigate the urban heat island effect during his capstone project. He also assisted in rectifying geospatial data for the Integrated Remote Sensing Studio as a project assistant during his degree. David's interests in GIS encompass geospatial analysis, remote sensing, and data management, all aimed at enhancing decision-making capabilities. Upon completing the Advanced Diploma in GIS, David aspires to apply his GIS expertise to utilities management, natural resource management—particularly in forestry—or urban planning/development.
